Tire & Wheel Training Programs Several years ago, I began offering onsite training programs to help salespeople, shop techs, managers and even a few owners to understand the critical aspects of the tire and wheel industry. I have also had the privilege to work with some of the most proactive tire & wheel dealers in the country. Our program is a full-day program consisting of classroom and hands-on segments. This is a multi-day program that will enhance your employees ability to not only be a better salesperson, but diagnose ride complaints much faster and with less expense. In response to a growing demand for economical training, we now offer a 2-set DVD program that covers both tires and wheels, especially the aftermarket. This program is targeted toward all salespeople, shop techs and managers who want to be known as the professional in their community and in our industry. This program will help prepare students to take the SEMA Custom Wheel and Tire Specialist (Z5) exam, the first professional designation for passenger/ light truck salespeople and installers. The passing rate for this exam was originally 57%. Since this training program has been available, the passing rate is now above 70%. We have a proven track record of over 90% for our students. Not only will you learn specifications, but also how to begin a sale, walk a customer through the sale and finally close the sale. It can increase your closing percentage and help lower comebacks using real world prevention techniques and diagnosing applications issues.
